Studies In God’s Word
At Lamb of God, we believe that the beginning of our faith in Jesus as our Savior, our growth in faith, and our remaining in our faith, all happens through the powerful word of God.
We make studying God’s word together a priority. We want to grow together, and be equipped in our live for living as God wants us to live (2 Timothy 3:15-17).
Our current Bible Studies include: Sunday morning Family Bible Study meets 9:45-10:15 AM with the Very Important Chapter of the Bible series. Our Tuesday class meets at Lamb Of God on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 AM – we are studying the gospel of Luke. Our Wednesday Bible Study is recessed during Lent. All recorded Bible studies are also available on our YouTube and Facebook pages, in case you are unable to join us live. We pray that God continues to bless your study of his word.
Our youth group at Lamb of God is made up of all of our young people, grades 6-12. We gather for studies in God’s word that apply to the situations in their lives; we look for ways to serve God’s people in our church and community. We enjoy fellowship activities with each other. We also participate in our district youth camps, fellowship activities, and rallies. Join us as we grow together in our lives of thanking Jesus!
Women’s Fellowship – Mary/Martha
Meets every Friday at Lamb of God Church’s Fellowship Room. We meet during school breaks, holiday weeks, and also during the summer. Sometimes our group is as small as two ladies, and sometimes we have as many as eight or more. We welcome all ladies – members, friends, and guests. You are invited to bring your children when they are not in school. If you do not have a project to work on, we can help you find one. If you have an interest in any craft or type of needlework, we most likely have someone who can help you get started. Our ladies have worked on: cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, crewel, embroidery, scrapbooking, beading and jewelry making, as well as quilting, any hobby, or project that is portable, and we’ve even had ladies play games. On occasion we all get together and work on a church project, such as preparation for Easter for Kids or making Christmas Tree Crismons. Those who have time will occasionally go out for a lunch and/or shopping at noon. The possibilities are endless, the fun and fellowship priceless! We hope to see you soon.
She works with her hands in delight. —Proverbs 31:13
